foldback, 2019, single channel looped video with audio track, iPad, plinth, plywood casing, headphones, fixings

Shown at Holy Rollers Studios as part of SALA 2019 group exhibition β€˜The Scene is the Seen,’ curated by Ray Harris and Rayleen Forester. Over several site visits, we recorded our conversation about how to approach making a work for the exhibition. An audio track of these conversations is accompanied by looped video of two balloons suspended above a stage, happened upon during one site visit. This audio and visual work was played from an iPad, cased within a wooden structure atop a plinth.
